Air Quality Engineer/Scientist

An environmental professional with 2 to 8 years of experience in conducting complex air quality and GHG analyses in support of CEQA/NEPA projects and special studies. Candidates must have proven mastery of SCAQMD CEQA guidelines, including LST methodologies and mobile and stationary source emission calculations (EMFAC, AP-42, CalEEMod).  Candidates with experience in dispersion modeling and health risk assessments (HRA) are preferred.  The ideal candidate will have excellent mathematical, computer, and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science/engineering or related discipline (chemical or mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or atmospheric sciences). Professional registration (EIT, P.E., CPP) and stationary source compliance experience is highly desirable.

Acoustical Engineer/Scientist

An acoustics professional with 4 to 10 years of experience in conducting noise and vibration impact assessments in support of CEQA/NEPA projects, special studies, and compliance issues to join expanding practice. Candidates must have knowledge of sound/vibration measurement instrumentation, data processing and analysis, knowledge of sound and vibration modeling tools, and ability to review project drawings.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated mastery in written and verbal presentation of complex scientific problems and solutions, excellent mathematical and computer skills, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in acoustics or acoustical engineering or related discipline (engineering or physics, with specialization in acoustics and/or vibration). Professional registration (P.E.) is highly desirable.

Director of Archaeology & Paleontology

  • Strategic and assertive business development
  • Proposal and budget preparation and oversight
  • Report and EIR section preparation and oversight

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Archaeology or Anthropology (with archaeological thesis)
  • Experience with Western United States excavation, surveying, and monitoring
  • Experience with administrative management of projects and project personnel
  • Demonstrated familiarity with California CEQA and Section 106 regulations
  • Experience in preparing complex proposals and associated effective cost estimates
  • Familiarity with paleontological procedures and protocols
  • Familiarity with preparing collections and placing with repositories

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Member of Register of Professional Archaeologists
  • Field Experience in Southern California
